BARACK OBAMA PAR KEHINDE WILEY POUR LA SMITHSONIAN PORTRAIT GALLERY
Le portrait de l’ancien Président américain Barack Obama a été réalisé par Kehinde Wiley pour la Smithsonian Portrait Gallery. Il fut dévoilé au cours d’une cérémonie privée ce 12 février.
L’œuvre rejoindra la collection de la Portrait Gallery, et sera installée de façon permanente dans l’exposition ‘America’s Presidents’ au deuxième étage du musée.
Galerie Templon announces the unveiling of Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of president Barack Obama for the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.
The portrait was revealed at a private ceremony at the museum on February 12th and joins the Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection. Wiley’s painting will be permanently installed in the Portrait Gallery’s “America’s Presidents” exhibition on the museum’s second floor.
