Galleria Raffaella Cortese invites you to the premiere of Anna Maria Maiolino’s performance AL DI LÀ DI. Organized on the occasion of the artist’s major retrospective at PAC Padligione d’Arte Contemporanea, Milano — O AMOR SE FAZ REVOLUCIONÁRIO, curated by Diego Sileo and on view through June 9th — the previously unseen performance will take place tomorrow, April 5th, at 7pm.

Featuring an old woman, a young woman, and a 13-meter-long scarlet cloth, the performance expands upon recurring themes of Maiolino’s practice: human relationships, politics, life, death, and femininity. AL DI LÀ DI emphasizes the affections and relationships between the self and the other, as seen in the previous performance in ATTO, presented at Galleria Raffaella Cortese in 2015.
