L’art de Klodin Erb vous touche. Couche après couche, l’artiste révèle ses univers picturaux expressifs et fantastiques. Forts et fragiles, sérieux et drôles, sensuels et raisonnés, les peintures, œuvres textiles, installations et vidéos de Klodin Erb dissolvent les oppositions et les hiérarchies. L’artiste transcende les frontières de la peinture, explorant et élargissant son médium : avec ses multiples métamorphoses, son art est libérateur.

Curtain falls dog calls est la plus grande exposition personnelle institutionnelle à ce jour de l’artiste, lauréate du Prix Meret Oppenheim en 2022. Le public peut choisir entre trois entrées pour l’exposition, lui permettant de s’immerger dans l’univers de l’artiste de différentes manières. Tout au long de cette présentation théâtrale, nous retrouvons des motifs issus du répertoire multiforme de Klodin Erb : un citron, des émojis, des portraits de stars, des figures mythologiques et même l’artiste elle-même. L’exposition nous invite à célébrer le changement constant et la vie.

Avec Toutes le savent, même les anges, Klodin Erb dévoile également une partie de son univers pictural unique au musée d’art Le Locle.

Klodin Erb’s art gets under your skin. Layer by layer, the artist reveals her expressive and fantastic pictoral worlds. Strong and fragile, serious and funny, sensual and reasoned — Klodin Erb’s paintings, textile works, installations and videos dissolve opposites and hierarchies. The artist transcends the boundaries of painting, exploring and expanding the medium: with her diverse metamorphoses, Klodin Erb’s art has a liberating effect.

‘Curtain falls dog calls’ is the largest institutional solo exhibition to date by the artist, who was awarded the Prix Meret Oppenheim in 2022. The public can choose between three entrances to the exhibition allowing them to immerse themselves in the artist’s universe in different ways. In the entire dramatic presentation we encounter motifs from Klodin Erb’s multifaceted repertoire: a lemon, emojis, portraits of stars, mythological figures and even the artist herself. The exhibition invites us to celebrate constant change and life.

With ‘Toutes le savent, même les anges’, Klodin Erb also reveals part of her unique painterly universe at the art museum in Le Locle: 11 October 2025 – 1 March 2026 at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Le Locle
